MY NAME IS JANE.
I was born & grew up in England. At 22, i moved to Switzerland to work for a year. That year turned into many and I now live here with my Swiss husband & 3 children.
From an early age I was always interested in art & design but chose not to pursue it as a career. I decided to study German instead, working in publishing & later as a bookseller.

In 2022, I completed an upholstery course in beautiful Cornwall. The stunning landscape & colours there inspired me to start painting again.
The colours of nature, particularly the rivers & lakes here in Switzerland, along with the coastal waters in Cornwall & the south coast of England are my constant inspiration. I love the way light falls on water & have sought to capture this in many of my paintings. I work in acrylic on canvas from photographs I have taken & sketches I’ve made.
