SPRING
"Spring is known as the season of hope. We are all given the opportunity to take nature’s cue, emerge from our winter slumber and seek out new beginnings.
Ever so slowly nature is awakening. The flowers bloom, trees put on their spring wardrobe and the sound of birdsong can be heard once again. The longer days and colours have already inspired me to create three new works."
Inspired by the many photos of the beautiful lush green countryside of my homeland with a sprinkling of magic in there too
My abstract interpretation of the fresh new colours to be found in the botanical gardens in Bern and a fabulous tree I photographed there in late February
I painted this outside in my garden while observing the fresh pinks & lavenders and bright greens of the spring blossoms

NATURE'S PALETTE EXHIBITION 2025
Thank you to everyone who came to the Vernissage of my exhibition, "Nature's Palette" at the WerkStadt, Lorraine. It was such a lovely evening enjoyed by so many. Inspired by the birch trees which overlook the River Aare close to my home, I recently created a series of four paintings I have named "The Woodland Series".
